This project was a culmination of the skills gained throughout the program, completed over 10 weeks while balancing other coursework. Our task was to build a WordPress site that served as a central hub for our client's companies, consolidating them under the newly rebranded identity of Populii Inc. We chose to modernize their brand, offering a fresh, cohesive image that aligned with the client’s vision for growth.
Facing the challenge of not having a professor during the initial weeks, I took the initiative to organize our team. I set up Basecamp for effective communication, prepared us for client meetings, and established a clear structure for our workflow. Throughout the project, I managed task delegation, helping the team stay on track and meet our deadlines. I also took responsibility for collecting, organizing, and assembling all project files for both the mid-term review and the final client handoff.
One of the highlights was creating mock-ups to demonstrate the impact of the new logo, which the clients were eager to order immediately. I selected office products as the medium for branding because they aligned well with the business’s operations, offering ideal visibility. Additionally, I contributed to updating a video from a previous team, ensuring that all materials reflected the new brand identity seamlessly.
